Microwave Radiometer Profiler
Four Microwave Radiometer Profiler MWRP of the type HATPRO are operated in FESSTVaL:
1.) DWDHAT (DWD HATPRO)
is located on the radiation platform in Lindenberg and measures temperature profiles, water vapor (IWV) and cloud liquid water (LWP)
2.) FOGHAT (Uni Köln HATPRO)
is located on the radiation platform in Lindenberg and scans continuously in azimuth at 30 ° elevation to detect spatial water vapor and cloud inhomogeneities
3.) SUNHAT (Uni Köln HATPRO)
is located in Falkenberg and continuously measures temperature profiles
4.) HAMHAT(Uni Hamburg HATPRO)
is located in Birkholz and measures temperature profiles, water vapor and cloud liquid water
